That's what I thought. Only Dell provided drivers and only outdated ones... :(

so now windows 10 is updated to Build 17763.134
and my pc has a realtek alc662 soundcard
which driver is the best? the latest from the microsoft catalog 6.0.1.8569?
i prefer uad drivers and i hope they don't mess up my soundblaster connect installation like any other drivers after version 6.0.1.8425 did.
tia.

My laptop is supported -> from folder

Dell Inspiron 7577 here with Waves MaxxAudio Pro
use this customized v6.0.1.8475 Realtek HDA + Waves MaxxAudio driver software from this Dell site , fanta110.
even though 8475 was made specifically for the Dell XPS 13 (9360) notebook PC, it should be compatible with your Inspiron (15) Gaming 7577 laptop.
I Have Dell Inspiron 5555 and it uses waves maxxaudio , but the drivers on this site does not have the app
you are not supposed to use any Realtek audio drivers from the Microsoft site, metine2, as those are not meant for your computer.
the 8475 driver I mentioned for fanta110's Dell 7577 laptop will not work for your Inspiron 5555 laptop - driver does not have the compatible INF files for it and the install will fail prematurely on the 5555 notebook pc.
try this v6.0.1.8496 Realtek HDA + Waves Maxxaudio driver from this Dell page instead, which was listed for a Dell Latitude 3379 laptop but has the compatible INF files (and compatible maxxaudio program) and may work on your Inspiron 5555.

GRRR, why are you using the 8569 driver, metine2? I do not understand

you are supposed to use the 8496 Dell based driver only, no other
if you insist on using the 8569 FF06 driver, just copy the Waves folder from the customized 8496 package onto the 8569 WHQL folder and manually run the "maxx audio installer (x64).msi" file to install the MaxxAudio program. better yet, make backup copies of the "maxx audio installer (x64).msi" and "maxxaudio_data.cab" files and run that MSI file after installing new Realtek drivers
don't blame me if the maxx audio software does not work with the 8569 FF06 driver
yeah, dell does not always update their drivers for older models and sometimes provide new drivers for new PCs only

nope, SM-003. seems like realtek has taken a break in making new drivers after 8569.
i'm waiting too for anything above 8570 that is whql
there was v6.0.1.8558 UAD or v6.0.1.8560 UAD that you can try out - check this forum for the download links to them.
sometimes Win10 updates sound blaster component driver from 2.0.0.15 to new versions like 2.0.0.20, 2.0.0.22 or 2.0.0.24, which may break it (blame MS for not allowing Win10 users to disable auto updates)
use wushowhide.diagcab to hide/block any creative sound blaster software updates to keep the creative v2.0.0.14/2.0.0.15 sb software driver.
you can update realtek UAD driver w/out updating the creative sb component driver
