maybe the May 2022 build 19044.1706 (KB5013942) update might be the cause as I did not update to that build and have disabled automatic windows update on my Win10 21H2 machine using either windows update minitool (WUMT) or Wumgr . maybe uninstall that update and install an older update but that requires blocking/hiding that update with either wumt or wumgr as KB5013942 seems to cause different problems on different Win10 systems.
run DriverStore Explorer (RAPR) and check if the 9338 Gigabyte INF files were installed, like in my screenshot below (I'm still using Win10 Education 21H2 at build 19044.1682 and did not install the KB5013942 update - will skip that one and maybe wait for Microsoft to release KB5014023 build 1904x.1739 update, currently that update is for windows insiders - or I can just install the out-of-band KB5015020 build 1904x.1708 update in the meantime):

9338 all oem driver just installs the audio codec driver files (rtaiodat.dat & rtkvhd64.sys) on many/most Gigabyte systems

That appears to be a HDA and not UAD driver as it says its over 400MB download... UAD are usually less than 100MB.Driver 6.0.9344.1 from Dell :

NO WRONG, Melchior!
9344 Dell driver mentioned by boboman is a UAD driver (with the bundled & bloated Intel HDA SST bus driver and Waves Maxxaudio SWC driver) as I checked the contents of that package myself in 7zip (there are HDXACPDELLCSMB.inf, HDXDELLBC2018.inf, HDXDELLBCSST2018.inf, HDXDELLCSMB2018.inf, HDXDELLSSTCSMB2018.inf & HDXHAPDellCSMB.inf files - those INF files are only found in UAD drivers and not in HDA nonUAD drivers)
edit - never assume a 400Mb driver package is an HDA driver pack unless you have verified the contents of the package in file archiving tools like WinRAR, Winzip or 7zip.
