It is gaming board, but I don't give a damn about Nahimic and other such BS. I got Z5500 Speakers and ALC 1220. It's all I need.

Meanwhile today Samsung announced M.2 980 version while yesterday I bought 2 M.2 970 EVO Plus, lol the irony. And I'd like to ask you, these M.2 drives have drivers/controllers... Do I need them?

then why are you showing a pic of those Realtek Software Components, SM-003?
those Realtek components are used in UAD drivers only and are useless with HDA drivers.
REMOVE those Realtek Software Components from your Intel board ASAP using DriverStore Explorer (rapr.exe) as you should not be having those Realtek components installed along with the Realtek HDA FFxx drivers (and may screw up the HDA drivers or your Intel board). Use the "Force deletion" option in RAPR to delete all "Software Components" relating to Realtek but leave the hdxrt.inf file intact.

just in - for MSI users > v6.0.8955.1 UAD from MSI (posted 6/11/2020) - ( UAD RTK ) ( UAD Nahimic )
