Hi ,
yes it is better to resume the original configuration and modify the configuration file.
Personally, I always take the default Realtek configuration.

Thanks for the quick reply. So can I just update the firmware with the default .cfg file? Here is the dumped info from my enclosure, please tell me which data should I keep/copy into the .cfg file.

Ok you just have to compare and update the default file but nothing prevents you from updating with the default file and seeing if it works well and saving the configuration of the old firmware here

Hi,

I just updated to 1.32 and it all went fine. I still want to do more tests but all good so far. Just a couple of questions:
- The serial number was increased by one after flashing (I checked in the new dump info). Do you know why is that? It seems that it is needed to subtract 1 from the actual serial number that you want to set in the firmware.
- The LED is still ON after a software eject. Is it possible to make it OFF when the enclosure is ejected?

Regards.

The serial number increment can be avoided by removing the option in the menu (or editing the .cfg file). The LED correctly turns off after eject if SUSPEND_LED_OFF is activated before flashing. My .cfg file ended being as shown below:
