this firmware continues to cause a huge latency in my system, reinstalled windows, updated bios, tested several drivers, nothing solves it.

Did you check via the task manager if there was an application or other driver that could cause the latency?

UPDATE 2023-10-03: After messing with the EEPROM the adapter is now dead, meaning that it isn't recognized at all by the tools eeupdate64e.efi and lanconf64e.efi. To verify this I tested the card in two different systems. So end of the story.

Hello community, after working with OpenCore the flash memory of my i225 Adapter got corrupted. At first I thought that this could not be a big problem, because I made a dump with eeupdatew64e.exe before. So I tried to reflash it with eeupdatew64e.exe /NIC=2 /d backup.bin and replaced the EEPROM content with the gui option. But even after disconnecting the power chord and waiting for more than 30 seconds the problem remains the same. The PCIe-adapter is now only recognized as:

But flashing the card gives the following error:

2:  Image size larger than flash size, aborting!

In this thread there are many problems described, but no solution seemed to work. It is strange I should be able to adjust the flash size with the correct EEPROM settings, but what can I do more that restoring the previously working EEPROM settings?
Can anyone point me into the right direction?

Kind regards,
Scatman
