First motherboard to use the 10Gbps Realtek RTL8127 chipset
5 hours 42 minutes ago - 5 hours 28 minutes agoGigabyte is the first motherboard manufacturer to use the Realtek RTL8127 10Gbps chipset, often paired with an AMD X870 chipset.
Competition is becoming fierce, as only Marvell (formerly Aquantia) was using a 10Gbps network chipset like the AQC113, 107, or 108 on its personal motherboards. 10Gbps networking is becoming a reality and will soon become the standard on all motherboards within a few years, thanks to the recent arrival of fiber optics.

It's true that the AQC113 is a bit outdated and expensive; I think the arrival of the RTL8127 will bring down the prices of motherboards and network controller cards.
