Not only the pack but the version 17.9.1.1009, which you said was "W480 (10e gen)"?

Good health to all!

Win 10 Pro x64
i7-9700K
ASUS MAXIMUS XI HERO
RAM 2х16 CMK32GX4M2A2666C16W
250Gb M.2 Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S250BW
1Tb Samsung 860 EVO MZ-76E1T0BW
RAID0 2x500Gb WD RE4 WD5003ABYX
Seagate 1Tb ST1000DM010
Video ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER EVO OC [DUAL-RTX2070S-O8G-EVO]

The situation repeats with the new driver version 18.30.0.1135 - also when the driver is installed, the BIOS settings are changed in the BIOS section "Advanced \ PCH Storage Configuration" in the item "M.2_2 PCIE Storage RAID Support" from "Not RST Controlled" installed (since M.2 SSD Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S250BW is used) on "RST Controlled" and if immediately, during the first reboot, you do not enter BIOS and change to "Not RST Controlled" - we get M.2 PCIE SSD Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S250BW in SATA mode - with a large decrease in speed. And you can restore normal mode only from a backup. INTEL is getting really annoying ...

For my Z490 I don't know if it's better to install 17.9.4.1017 or 18.30.0.1135....

17.9.4.1017 seems to be up to date.

@DirtyShady:
I recommend to install the RST driver v17.9.4.1017, because its development branch has already been well approved.
The first v18 platform driver is just for testing purposes, but not recommended for your daily work.
