what's the difference between all these versions, can anyone tell me which one would be the best for my DH67BL mobo with creative 5.1 sound system set up to get the best Dolby surround audio experience

FF00 - for ANY Intel motherboard using any onboard Realtek audio. it's what I use with an old Intel D101GGC board using a Realtek ALC861 audio device - I have to edit/mod an existing hdxrt.inf file to add DEV_0861 onto the list since ALC880, ALC861 & ALC261 chips are no longer supported in newer Realtek drivers

sometimes it's better to check the SPECS (specifications) or manual of your Intel DH67BL board to see what audio features you get.
ark.intel.com/products/50098/Intel-Desktop-Board-DH67BL
www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/...7BL_ProductGuide.pdf
www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/.../desktop-boards.html

to put it this way:

FF01 (FMAPO) > best suited for mostly Lenovo desktop/laptop computers
FF03 (Nahimic) > best suited for ASUS ROG Gaming boards & gaming laptops with Sonic Studio, Dell Alienware PCs using Alienware sound center or for MSI gaming motherboards & laptops using Nahimic
FF04 (CXAPO) > best suited for mostly Hewlett-Packard [HP] or Compaq desktop/laptop PCs
FF06 (Maxxaudio) > best suited for Fujitsu PC computers, certain ASUS and Dell computers with Waves Maxxaudio
FF10 (Creative) > best suited for certain Sager/Clevo laptops, certain ASRock/ASUS/Gigabyte/MSI boards with Creative SB Cinema, X-FI MB2/MB3/MB5, SBX360/SBX720 or THX Trustudio PC/Pro
FF0C > best suited for those who are using Intel SST based Realtek audio devices (SST = smart sound technology) - hardware ID begins with "INTELAUDIO" instead of "HDAUDIO"

If you don't have any of the above audio features, stick to using just the FF00 drivers
