I moved all the files to C:\temp\ and run the software as administrator, but nothing changed.
If I disconnect the USB drive, the Configure option is set correctly but as soon as I plug the drive in, it becomes blank again.

try other firmwares or other *.cfg files from various packages to see if it recognizes it
