Hi, Any idea if the M.2\SATA devices perform better or worse under the RST-VMD platform? (after remap)
Or if one prefers performance one should avoid Remapping the disks with VMD?
Also please if one knows what loads faster, boot-wise?, (VMD vs Samsung\windows normal controller vs VDM+Samsung\windows normal controller)

In fact, there is no standard answer to this, any change in the motherboard of different chipset/different brands of SSDs/different versions of the OS may result in contradictory data.

There's an old topic here, and some of the pictures are missing, FYI.

I once saved a .mht offline snapshot of the web page, and the picture on the first page was relatively complete.

There is only a driver for Intel RST VMD Managed Controller 09AB - no driver for Intel RST VMD Controller 9A0B.

In the past there where always drivers for both controllers.

What ist the reason? and is it a problem to use different drivers for both controllers?
