Just a heads up if you want to update this component to 1.0.0.91 version use the 8495 driver.(Everything else is updated on 8501 WHQL!)

8495 UAD drivers are OEM specific - does not support "All OEMs"; my Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 board cannot handle this version - I'll use 8501 instead.

I'll wait for 8501 FFxx nonUAD or higher versions to become available for my other & older PCs to use.

For those using Dell XPS 13/15 (9360/9560 or similar) laptops, a customized v6.0.1.8475 non-UAD driver w/ MaxxAudio integration & application software is available from Dell .

Because of Realtek updating multiple inf individually and some of the Realtek Device Extension need thirty party component

I created a github page to download UAD, thirty party component, UWP apps individually

If your PC had preinstalled HDA driver with a desktop version (non-UWP) of audio enhancers, UAD will not work with that desktop version of audio enhancers.

If you want to use OEM supported audio enhancer with desktop version (non-UWP) with UAD, you can try APO Driver solution.

UAD designed working with UWP audio enhancers apps mainly.

But some new OEM laptop had preinstalled UAD with Alienware Control Center desktop app or ICE Audio Wizard desktop app. The thirty party don't make UWP version of its audio enhancers.

Edit 8/1: still waiting for either 8501 HDA or 8504 HDA FFxx legacy drivers
but 8496 FF03 Nahimic (recent ASUS laptops only, may not work for recent ASUS desktop boards) is available.
