It's still working for me. Maybe try a different browser, or a dedicated FTP client such as CyberDuck ( cyberduck.io/ ).

the Realtek ftp server was temporarily down when I checked around 12am midnight on 8/12 pacific local time. it started working again when I checked again several hours later in the morning. so the Realtek ftp server is working on my end.

I got my update of "Realtek HD Audio Driver 6.0.8773.1 WHQL"
from github.com/alanfox2000/realtek-hda-release/releases
for Windows 7 works great.. there were some no audio glitches after reboot but they eventually went away..

that's good for Win7 users. because newer HDA driver versions are becoming less frequent lately so expect fewer updates

Unofficial Realtek UAD Generic 6.0.8777.1
The official installer is included. If you prefer it over my custom made open-source installer, move Win64 folder inside Official-Setup folder and run setup.exe as admin from there. This release comes with an update for Realtek Audio Console. Open Windows Store and do a check for updates to get Realtek Audio Console 1.5.190.0 right away or wait for Windows store to pull it.

Looks like it now asks for a username and a password! Which means we can't get in, which is a real shame :(

fwa ha ha HA!

I can logon to the Realtek FTP server just fine using nearly any web browser with the proper username & password (Chrome, Firefox, Seamonkey, Palemoon, Opera, etc. - I won't bother trying with IE and MS Edge)

I don't know why you can't access it on your end, Higgs.

Note to pal1000: it appears the HDXRT.inf file is gone from the UAD MSI Nahimic drivers starting with 8764. the 8761 WHQL UAD Nahimic and 8762 UAD Nahimic driver versions were the last ones to have hdxrt.inf.

I am aware of it. When Realtek decides to make a change to HDXRT.inf my mod process will break. It happened in the past with HDX_GenericExt_RTK.inf, see this issue topic .
That got resolved by alanfox2000 when he posted an updated copy of HDX_GenericExt_RTK.inf on his realtek-universal-audio-driver project .
