Unofficial Realtek UAD Generic 6.0.9075.1
Due to Realtek not providing regular updates to HDXRTU.CAT, HDXRT.inf, HDXRTSST.inf and HDX_GenericExt_RTK.inf, it wasn't possible to make a Realtek UAD Generic package for old systems that is 100% WHQL compliant. To workaround this setup installs latest generic WHQL compliant codec component (version 6.0.8924.1) with hardware support application, audio effects and service components taken from latest version and then a force updater is used to replace the old codec component (RTKVHD64.sys and RTAIODAT.DAT) with its latest version.

Due to absence of valid and updated copies of HDXRTU.CAT, HDXRT.inf, HDXRTSST.inf and HDX_GenericExt_RTK.inf (or equivalents) new hardware IDs introduced since 6.0.8825.1 are at most partially supported and those introduced since 6.0.8925.1 are completely unsupported.

This release comes with an update for Realtek Audio UWP app. Open Windows Store and do a check for updates to get Realtek Audio Control 1.20.238.0 right away or wait for Windows store to pull it.

On systems without Windows Store it's now possible to perform an offline installation of Realtek Audio Control app.

thanks admin for the generic 9071.1 HDA driver.

however, the Realtek Sound effect options were gone when 9071 HDA FF00 was installed on my brother's Sony Vaio notebook PC

this little problem on the Sony PC has been going on since 9018 HDA FF00 were the Realtek EQ/environment options were removed
and did not occur on my other machines with Realtek audio hardware.  looks like I will once again remove 9071 HDA and downgrade back
to 9000 HDA on the Sony laptop to get back the Realtek sound effect options.

found the source of generic 9071.1 HDA - Lenovo ( release notes )

though a little late on this but there was also an old generic 8955.1 HDA 32bit/64bit driver available from Axiomtek - took them several months to post this up on their web site

---

for those using certain Gigabyte boards or laptops - unofficial 9079.1 uad Gigabyte driver posted on Google Drive

Hello everybody,

On my Asrock Fatal1ty X99 Professional Gaming i7 motherboard, I'm using the latest Realtek audio driver available on OEM website ( ver:8825.1_UAD_WHQL_SBC5_2.0.0.40_2019_1106_113206 )
Is there any newer driver version fully compatible?
I'd like to preserve the special audio enhancement functionalities and feature set (Sound Blaster Connect)
Would it be ok if I just manually update from device manager the individual device and software components with the latest driver versions available from microsoft catalog or other sources?

HardwareID is HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0900&SUBSYS_18491159
