This is version 6.0.8900.1 which I downloaded from drvhub.net (trusted website as something). Because on this page there is no driver and it is not known whether he will return I put a link to this driver here:

the 8900 uad driver pack you got contains only the HDXSSTMSI.inf file
so yeah you're wrong as it's not very useful except for those using certain modern MSI laptops with certain IDs listed in the hdxsstmsi.inf file.

plus Nahimic Support has v6.0.8904.1 uad msi driver which is newer than 8900 and supports more MSI based boards & laptops - I mentioned about 8904 almost a few weeks ago here

next time, get a newer driver that includes the generic HDXRT.inf file to allow installation on almost any Realtek hd audio device.

note to boboman:
links to 8895 PG475 BC HDA Dell version (for most Dell Latitude/Optiplex/Precision machines, includes hdxadcmax8.inf & hdxadcmax8s.inf) and 8895 PG475 SCCM HDA Dell version (for certain Dell Inspiron/Vostro/XPS machines, includes hdssma7.inf & hdxma7.inf)
(get the 8895 "BC" version for your computer)

edit 4/15 - 8895 PG475 BC HDA Dell version "Mega" link removed - Dell has this specific 8895 version on their web site

Guys, I own a Gigabyte Aorus z390 Pro, I don't know which driver version I was in and I upgraded to version 8881. After the update the sound got too low! I've been in all windows settings but even putting everything at 100%, still low. Could you help me?

And this is interesting because I have this driver on 3 computers (2 laptops, one of which is Acer and the other is Asus) and on a desktop with a Gigabyte motherboard and on all 3 computers the driver works

thanks Vonray1911.

I have a Gigabyte board that use HWID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A182" that can run the 8895 UAD Gigabyte driver.

note - 6.0.8895.1 of the HDXGigabyte.INF file adds these new hardware device IDs:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_1458A186
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_1458B000

v6.0.8890.1 of the HDXGigabyte.inf file added this new HWID (included in 8895 & higher):
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0255&SUBSYS_145875B4

edit - waiting to see if MS will post an 8895 uad "generic" version or maybe a higher one like 8899 later this March.
