I think this pack corrects a security problem
Fixed a potential security vulnerability in the Intel Chipset Device Software may allow escalation of privilege

Hi,
this pack and for chipsets that are not supported by the pack 10.1.18263.8193

the pack will determine whether or not you need to update the chipsets but if you already have a more recent version keep the
This pack relates exclusively to old chipsets not supported by version 10.1.18263.8193

I've several systems all containing intel CPU from 2nd gen to 8th gen consecutively, I kept the Intel INF v10.1.18010.8141 (24th April 2019) for 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th gen of my system as this v10.1.18010.8141 contains all the required INF & CAT files for that relatively older-gen CPU, which ain't present/available there in the latest Intel INF v10.1.18263.8193 (3rd Jan 2020) and this latest v10.1.18263.8193 only have the INF & CAT file from 6th gen onwards.

Having all the systems from 2nd gen to 8th gen, I've to keep both of these Intel INF versions i.e
v10.1.18010.8141 & v10.1.18263.8193

Now that this old version of Intel INF v10.1.1.45 released & published here now, am confused which one should I keep for what.
Can anyone help to sort & clarify this pls?

I think that this pack allows to correct a flaw problem during the installation but that does not change in any case the original drivers which remains from 2017
If the problem was the drivers, the WHQL certification will have changed I think
But as intel does not communicate on their release so lasts lasts

The only advice I give and always keep the most recent
