Hello! I'm also a laptop user (MSI GF63 8RD - i7 8750h / intel chipset HM370) and I've been trying to update to a newer and less vulnernable version of ME firmware. Appreciate any help.

@SevenOptimus is there any tutorial regarding ME firmware flashing (i'm kinda new into this things)? There's just a .bin file, no .bat installer or tool.

I dont owe an Intel System anymore...
But in past, i think, i did like that. I downloaded the latest fwupdlcl64, then i searched for a BIN file, then i went to windows DOS mode (CMD) as an admin, then i typed in following things:

FWUpdLcl64 -f "firmware.bin" -forcereset -allowsv

whilst "firmware bin" is the name of the firmware. Like that in your case:

FWUpdLcl64 -f "12.0.70.1652_CON_H_BA_PRD_EXTR.bin" -forcereset -allowsv

Something like that, i think.

Regards,

DI

Edit and try without the quotes. ""......like FWUpdLcl64 -f 12.0.70.1652_CON_H_BA_PRD_EXTR.bin -forcereset -allowsv try that, too.
