J'ai un fait comparatif entre les drivers NVMe Intel 18.x et ceux fournis par soit Microsoft (Sandisk) ou Samsung (Samsung)

Latest RST-VMD driver now works with x299 chipset, rst premium driver. Previous version would install but stop the pc from sending the reset or shutdown command.

J'avoue ne pas trop comprendre, j'ai un SSD 970 Pro (sur CM en Z490) et lors d'une installation de Windows, j'ai toujours pensé qu'il était indispensable d'installer les Intel Rapid Storage 18.x (mode AHCI) et aussi les drivers Samsung version 3.3.

Vous pouvez m'expliquer comment cela fonctionne ?

Moi je ne suis pas expert mais je pense que Intel fusionne les drivers NVMe avec ceux des autres comme Samsung pour en faire un drivers générique du faite que le controleur PCI-E Vers NVMe et le chipsets intel qui le gère.
