There are 4 PRO folders in this driver package
PRO40GB
PRO100
PRO1000
PROXGB

And in each PRO folder within the Win64 folder, there are also 5 different NDIS folders i.e.
NDIS62
NDIS63
NDIS64
NDIS65
NDIS68

My H/w is Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection & these are the h/w ids
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&SUBSYS_20028086&REV_05
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&SUBSYS_20028086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&CC_020000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&CC_0200

Can anyone tell me which particular folder should I look for appropriate INF driver file for my device id?

Also, it'd be useful if anyone explains to me the differences of that PRO & NDIS folders

UPDATE 1: Okay after a little google search I got the answer regarding the NDIS folders

NDIS62=Windows 7/ Server 2008
NDIS63=Windows 8/ Server 2012
NDIS64=Windows 8.1/ Server 2012 R2
NDIS65= Windows 10 1803 / Server 2016
NDIS68= Windows 10 1809 / Server 2016

So it'd be NDIS68 for my case as I am on latest RS5 Win10 x64, now searching for the PRO folder difference as well, meanwhile, if anyone came across this post & knows which PRO folder would be apt then let me know.

UPDATE2: Okay so after many trial & error, I got it, It's PRO1000\Winx64\NDIS65 (Don't know why latest NDIS68 doesn't contain/showing the Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network.so have to choose NDIS65 & found 82579V there)

Note: It's not installing via the usual autorun.exe & giving me a message like no intel network card found so I've to do this via device manager manually update from the have disk option

Hi SM-003 ;-)
normally the package will automatically install the necessary drivers for your configuration unless you just want to install the drivers? :unsure:
