what games are you playing, kertel1991? sometimes 5.1 surround sound is not available in certain games, no matter what.
I also found this topic in this AVS forum topic about 5.1 surround sound not working in games

"z370 prime A" - I assume it's an ASUS Z370-A Prime motherboard. perhaps mention the 5.1 sound problem in ASUS ROG forums and wait for a response there

So I'm using the HDA 8639 FF00 for my ASRock x470 Tai Chi now. I couldn't figure out if just any UAD will work with it or there is a specific version that does? I mean wouldn't any UAD driver work since there's nothing special about it?

Thank you very much. I play a lot of AAA games like tomb raider AC origins far cry and i only get linear pcm. Never dts/dd through optical. I will make a topic in the asus forum hope they will help me.
