This "Intel I21x Lan controller Firmware Version 3.30" firmware update is authored by HP: does not seem to work on a Gigabyte branded H97 chipset motherboard that contains one of the listed ethernet ports: i217-V.
If anyone is able to get the firmware update procedure to work, especially on a non-HP motherboard, please advise. Thanks.
