Unless you have the newest chipset the INF installer doesn't install this version number, if you've installed a newer version than what your mobo download was you can see if there's a difference between the installer version and the version that actually installed by looking at devise MGR. The point being the release notes won't matter unless this version installed. Don't forget to use CMD from inside the folder to run the exe and use this command, - setupchipset.exe -overall , or you won't install the intel version to all roots, they can be left with windows integrated driver version if you just run the installer. Always run cmd as admin.

Contrary to you I do not recommend to run the Intel Chipset Device INF Files installer, even less by using the suffix " -overall", because this way the user forces the installation of bloatware.
Proof: Count the amount of files within the C:\Windows\INF before and after running the installer with the suffix " -overall".
