Aren't we going backwards ?

I think i'll just stop updating drivers for Asus Prime z390-A. Sound really doesn't show much difference between driver versions.

What's the official driver fromRealtek for HD FF00 an FFOC ?

FF00........8742.1 WHQL and 8745.1 Beta
FF0C.......8703.1 WHQL and 8712.1 Beta

Unofficial Realtek UAD Generic 6.0.8746.1
- This release contains the official installer. If you prefer it over my custom made open-source installer, move Win64 folder inside Official-Setup folder and run setup.exe as admin from there.
- This release comes with an update for Realtek Audio Console. Open Windows Store and do a check for updates to get Realtek Audio Console 1.3.185.0 right away or wait for Windows store to pull it.

Thanks EX58.

Do any of you see a quality difference between HDA drivers ??

Je crois que je suis tellement intelligent, que je suis assez stupide pour le croire 1268

Hello,

I have weird problem with Realtek HDA drivers
No matter which version I install everything works perfect except pure stereo sound.
I get a sound output both channels are mixed together something like mono.
I tried every option enablng/disabling, clead install, tried many different versions of drivers
When I install UAD drivers I get normal stereo sound but I have different issues with other windows software like mp3 or video players
When I uninstall Realtek drivers Windows 10 recognizes audio device as HD Audio Device and it works perfect with Microsoft HD Audio drivers but this time It automatically installs one of Realtek HDA drivers when I restart and I loose good stereo sound again.

My laptop is Asus FX504GE it has a Realtek audio chip using FF00 driver versions I am sure about it.
Op.System Windows 10 Home x64

I will be very happy if somebody can give info about solution.
Thank youu
Regards

You can use DDU to remove all traces of realtek HDA drivers.
After that you should get the windows default again.
