I have this Hardware ID on one of my PC's:

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0663&SUBSYS_10431BF3&REV_1000

I assume i can't use UAD drivers and must stick with the generic FF00 HDA. Am i correct?

Thanks in advance

SUBSYS IDs beginning with "1043" indicate the vendor ID is ASUS, disq.
is this an ASUS desktop or laptop computer? run the Speccy tool to gather specs of your ASUS computer. and you are right, you are limited to using FFxx HDA (non-UAD) drivers because you are using an old ASUS computer, disq.

Realtek UAD drivers are best suited for recent computers made in late 2017 and in 2018/2019 that have at least pre-installed Windows 10 v1709 (RS3), v1803 (RS4) or v1809 (RS5) but could be used on slightly older machines that were made in late 2015 [ when Windows 10 was first released]

For the Realtek S1220A what to install? I have install the F00 but i get no optical output in the drivers. Just monitor. I use ddu to fully unistall and then install. Please someone help?

what kind of computer are you using, kertel1991? you too need to use the Speccy program to obtain information about your computer because there are different motherboards & PCs that use Realtek ALC1220 chips.

unrelated note: for those other users beside disq & kertel1991, Microsoft has posted v6.0.1.8603 on their MS Update Catalog site

I have the same motherboard (prime z370-a) and I have sound from the optical output. What do you mean it does not work for you?
