Okay, thanks.
In summary:
Unplug the ethernet cable going to the Aquantia LAN port.
Use "diag -k -p" to first check the existing firmware version.
Use "diag -k -f DellNormalDirtyWake-3.1.56_bdp.clx --phy_flash_bdp" to perform the flash.
Shut down the system, use the PSU rocker switch to turn off power, then press and hold the front case power button for a few seconds.
Flip the PSU power switch back on and reboot Windows.
Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sources/Aquantia device.
Re-install the Aquantia device driver, and check that it is again present under Network Adapters.
Plug in the ethernet cable.

Yes, it's especially good to reinstall the driver which is by default Aquantia by the last at the end of the update and after restarting the pc

Look in Windows Device Manager for an Aquantia device under "Sources" & uninstall that device.
Then re-run the Aquantia LAN port driver installation utility.
Latest version: 2.1.16.0
www.station-drivers.com/index.php?option...info&id=3822&lang=en
Then check under Network Adapters, where the Aquantia Network Adapter should have re-appeared.

Don't panic, it's due to a special Aquantia diagnostic device driver which got installed (via "diag -k") before flashing the firmware.
Which should be manually uninstalled in order to regain use of port.
See previous message.
