On what chipset you try to install?
Can you provide the Hardware ID's of the Intel Sound controller?
I just run the installer and it installed the Graphics and Audio drivers.

Me too, on Win 1803.
I clicked cancel and it didn't come back on the next reboot.

I don't have any missing device drivers in Device Manager. In Audio Section I Have installed Realtek HD Audio. Intel installer did not install Intel Display Audio at all. After UPGRADE to 1809 this device missed. I don't have access to DEVICE IDS.

Version 25.20.100.6326 of the Intel HD Graphics drivers include v10.26.0.1 of the Intel Display Audio driver (IntcdAud.sys) dated 09/04/2018 as I checked the latest Intel graphics driver pack myself.

This laptop have a HDMI output. Normally Intel Display Audio is installed in 1803 release. Was gone in 1809 due Intel driver issue. AND mainly it is not seen anymore as unknown device or something like that:
