Everybody talks about Raid 0 trim. What is the status for Raid 1 and 5?

I'd like to renew my server with SSD disks and I badly need 5 or at least 1 for security.

Après avoir installé ces drivers, bluescreen au démarrage de Windows 7 fr 32 bits.
Réinstallation des drivers 11.2 derniers du nom de votre site, tout est OK maintenant.

Je suis parti de la version 10.6 pour installer les drivers 11.5, je n'ai pas le temps de refaire un test maintenant que je suis en version 11.2...

You cannot just overwrite any 11.5.xx over any 10.x.xx , 11.1.xx or 11.2.xx because it is totally different; the 11.5.xx having two iaStor files opposed to only one iaStor for all the other versions, and you will probably end up with BSOD!!
You must uninstall first and possibly clean registry with other tool, and only then instal newer version.
But it is OK for example to go from 11.5.0 to 11.5.4 since it is similar.

Super, no more memory leak!!

I have uninstalled everything until I got microsoft driver only.

The installation went well but the RST service doesn't start and whenever I try to launch from systray it gives me the following error:



Any idea?

According to my knowledge the Intel RST(e) drivers v11.5.x.xxxx (using 2 different drivers) and the related RST Console software require an appropriate Intel RST(e) RAID ROM version for the full functionality.
Please give us some informations regarding your system (Chipset resp. Southbridge), the SATA mode (AHCI/RAID) of the Intel SATA Controller and the actual Intel RAID ROM version of your mainboard BIOS.

Manually updated to latest Intel ROM (can't remember exact version), Z68 chipset on Asus P8Z68-V in RAID 0 mode with 3 x Velociraptor.

You can see the Intel RAID ROM Utility version, if you hit CTRL+I while booting.
It should belong to the v11.5.x.xxxx series, if you want full support of the RST(e) drivers and software v11.5.4.1001.

Well when I have tried, it didn't work any way: forth or back!
Only uninstall helped for me, on two machines!

I think you will have a long wait, sorry.


Those installing RST directly over RSTe should be careful the lower filter driver iastorF.sys isn't left still in the chain.

Not really. Maybe something went wrong during the installation procedure.
Try to uninstall the RST software and to reinstall it after a reboot.

Not really. Maybe something went wrong during the installation procedure.
Try to uninstall the RST software and to reinstall it after a reboot.

Tried to uninstall/reinstall. Reinstalled NET 3.5 and 4 too.
No solutions.

Hi everyone, I am banging my head against the wall trying to get my intel driver to work. If I try to force it in xorg.conf, x gets mad and tells me there's no screen detected. I am stuck using the vesa driver, which only allows me 1024x768 - not my native resolution, ugly, and very limited.
