Il y a déjà plusieurs mois que LG ne propose plus de firmware pour améliorer leurs nas N2R1 ou N2B1 toute série confondue. Aujourd'hui chose faite avec une amélioration considérable de l'interface qui et complétement remis à jour, plus belle, plus légère, et bien sûr en cadeau plusieurs améliorations (voir liste ci-dessous).

Note: After upgrading to New UI, if you get a SMART error, this error is not caused by New UI upgrade and There was no function to check and show up HDD SMART status in the previous UI. Users could NOT be aware of HDD SMART error.
After upgrading to new UI, HDD SMART check function is running and the result of HDD SMART status appears on NAS web UI.
If you get a HDD SMART error after upgrading, please contact to LG service and get a proper service.















Procédure de mise à jour du firmware:

Attention, sauvegarder vos données sinon ils seront effacées.

Accéder a votre Nas puis l'onglet mise à jour du firmware.
Sélectionner le firmware du boot (Uboot) "new_ui_uboot_update_NC1_120226.bin" puis lancez la mise à jour.
Eteindre le nas après la mise à jour puis appuyer sur bouton Power tout en maintenant les deux flèches gauche et droite, a l'apparition du message " Nas is Netboot " relâcher le bouton power et les touches des deux flèches.
Ensuite Lancez l'application " LGNASDetector.exe " attendre la détection du nas puis cliquez sur " Install Nas System " l'adresse ip du Nas sera mis à jour, confirmer les fenêtres d’information de la mise à jour.
Attendre les 14 étapes des mises à jours et le redemarrage du NAs.
Vous pouvez dorénavant profiter de cette mise à jour .

A titre d'information, la fonction Jumbo Frame de votre chipset reseau n'est pas compatible pour la mise a jour du firmware.

hello, someone has succeeded! - I did all the procedure is in "Nas is Netboot..."

Nas is after Netboot via LGNASDetector select your nas then click " install nas system " then the file "netenc_nc1_10094.zip".
must be in your network 192.168.0.x to indicate if your Ip fix on your cards or chipsets networks

My advice to disable the Firewall
It has greatly improved over what I hoped was WEBSERVER remains the same is not possible for example to put some plugins in joomla 2.5, joomla does not run for failing to Json.

I need some serious help. Everything goes well until 8/14 Download F/W where it says "Installation is Fail". I repeated the process a couple of times now with the same result. I have the N2B1DD2 model and the US if thats any help, thank you.

Bonjour,

Quelqu'un sait si on peut graver correctement des .ISO directement sur le NAS avec cette nouvelle mise à jour? J'ai déjà essayé et avec l'ancienne version je me retrouve avec un DVD qui contient un fichier .ISO et non le contenu du ISO gravé sur le DVD. C'est vraiment la seule chose que je déplore du firmware actuel... si cela ne fait pas partir des nouveautés je ne me donnerai pas la peine de bouger mes données ailleurs pour pouvoir reformater et recommencer!

Sauf erreur de ma part, le LG N2R1 n'était pas visible par la freebox hd. Avec cette mise à jour, savez-vous si c'est encore le cas?
